In the crowded category of protein bars, a new subset was emerging — refrigerated protein bars. Best Bar Ever was born of authentic, grassroots love and named by consumers who claimed it was the “best bar ever." But the brand knew it needed to grow awareness and trial in order to expand from a DTC business into retail.
IDEA
Utilizing digital targeting, the brand was able to reach fresh enthusiasts who are passionate about their food choices. The digital advertising campaign educated these enthusiasts around Best Bar Ever's refrigerated protein bars that combine the best freshness, taste, and nutrition. Layering on geo-targeting filters, the brand was able to drive fresh enthusiasts to local sampling events.
The #SnackHappy campaign enlisted micro-influencers and partnered with Hello Fresh for sampling, building the brand through the consumer enthusiasm that earned the brand its name.
RESULTS
The brand SECURED DISTRIBUTION IN SIX BRICK-AND-MORTAR CHAINS within the first few months of campaign launch and EXCEEDED TURNS in all retailers following initial sampling events.
